Vacuum Excavation processes have become popular in Australia over the past 15 years as a way to minimise risk of service strikes and injury to personnel.
Hydro Excavation machines use the cutting power of high- pressure water along with a powerful vacuum for a wide variety of uses. Applications include potholing (utility location), sewer jetting (clearing sewer lines), pit cleaning (sumps and manhole cleaning), storm clean up, construction site cleanup, and many other uses.
ELB Equipment recommends the Vac Extreme range of machines that are built for power. They are upgradeable from the standard 1700 CFM to 2500 CFM and to 3000 CFM. Whatever you need to suck, they can do it.
With the large range of vacuum machinery that ELB Equipment carries, you have the option to mount any of our machines on a truck of your choice, or you can have the system professionally mounted on your vehicle by our professional team which will give you a custom vacuum truck configured perfectly for your specific project. Our experienced team is also available to discuss truck capabilities and preferences to ensure your machine can do the job required.
If you think that a vacuum trailer or a skid mount system might be more appropriate for your excavation project, ELB Equipment can provide our machines in any of these configurations.
Vacuum trucks are commonly used by town and municipal governments, and by commercial entities around the world to remove slop in various forms. Vacuum trucks are the perfect solution in the petroleum industry, for cleaning of storage tanks and spills and because they are located on site they are also an important part of drilling oil and natural gas wells. They can remove drilling mud, drilling cuttings, cement, spills, brine water and more. This waste can then be easily disposed of in sump pits, treatment plants etc.
Vacuum trucks can also be used for exposing underground utilities. The ground is jetted with water, and the vacuum truck sucks up the muddy product as it forms. This exposes the buried utility without the possibility of damage, as would be possible if a larger excavation machine was used.
ELB Equipment have representatives throughout Australia and New Zealand who are standing by waiting to take your call.
